It is not possible to escape humanness

Every human being needs to evidence this wisdom in their living.  Meaningful life is acceptable to all.  Every unit in existence has the tendency for universal order, it is their dharma.  Human being, as a unit in existence, also expects to live in universal order.  On this basis, we can say that humanness is naturally acceptable to human being.  Evidencing humanness itself is awakening.  When I evidenced it, I realized humanness itself is my identity.  Such living has well being of all.  I believe whole humankind is thirsting for humanness.  Humanness is human being’s identity, which they cannot escape.  It is the destiny of humankind – they will reach it sooner or later.

Praying, Reading scriptures and Sitting in Meditation

Human being’s dedication can have its continuity only when it is for nyaya, dharma and satya – and nowhere else.  The practices of praying, reading scriptures and sitting in meditation only reinforce the desire of achieving the goal for which one performs these.  These are also said to be the ways to ultimate salvation or moksha.  These practices are popular, revered as auspicious, and many people find relief in doing these.  However, the immediate relief that we get from these practices doesn’t mean our having become capable of living in universal order.  It is not that I mistrust these practices.  There is a point to which these are effective.  After that point these are about aspiring for moksha – which is said to be their final destination as samadhiSamadhi is not about gaining or losing anything, it is absolute nothingness.

In this way, we reach the conclusion that order in human living doesn’t arise by way of devotion and renunciation.  It is not possible to give rise to order by way of materialism either.  What is the way out for human being therefore?  The art of humane living is realized by way of resolution, prosperity, fearlessness and coexistence.  I have seen living this way and you can also do it.

Upkaar

As we start living in universal order, we become its part.  Living thus if we participate in the shiksha-sanskar then we do it in the form of upkaar – in the spirit of giving.  Shiksha-sanskar is meaningful only when it is done as upkaarShiksha-sanskar has no meaning if we do it in expectation of some return.  We cannot impart understanding of satya and essence of reality if education is given for money.  I impart shiksha-sanskar as upkaar.  It never occurred to me to expect anything material in return.  Material things are not needed for imparting wisdom.  The teachers who give education program need to be self-reliant and self-sustaining.  Teachers will do production to fulfil their material needs; they will be well off, so naturally they will do upkaar.

It can be surveyed that every human being has inherent tendency to help and give.  This is the fertile ground for developing capability of doing upkaar in them.  If we were to encourage a child’s helping nature it will evolve into upkaar by the time they become adult.  We only need to provision the way to nurture and guide this source present in every human child.  This can only be done through education that is based on human consciousness.  Professional or industrial education of today is not capable of doing it.  Education of human consciousness addresses harmony in human behaviour, universal order and evidence.  Professional and industrial education cannot make human being socially responsible.  These may be able to stop the wrongs among human beings but these cannot stop wrongs with Earth.  The industrial and professional education is responsible for Earth’s destruction.  We need education of human consciousness as their alternative.  We need to develop the whole educational content for making human being wise, thereby capable of living with conduct of humanness.

It is common to see that a human being does instantly all that is to do with rage and excitement, but thinks ten times over before doing anything that is to do with wisdom, resolution, human purpose.  It is not the same way in childhood.  As one grows up one starts doubting one’s helping nature, and gradually helpfulness starts becoming low in priorities.  It becomes too late as a result and slowly one’s circumstances also become different.  The changed circumstances only reinforce that self doubt and slowly one takes a stand that nothing good is possible, that we can’t do anything good in this world.  On the other hand, the natural expectation for order is alive and present in every human being.  This proposal addresses that natural expectation in human being – it answers how the universal order could become accessible to all, how it can be propagated in all humankind.

Truth is eternal - same forever.

The scientists say what they learn from machines is not necessarily the final truth, that which is truth today can change in future.  So they are saying there are multiple versions of truth, or there is a range in truth - first truth, middle truth, final truth, nearly truth, and far truth?  It is very difficult what we should consider as truth from all these proclamations of science.  There is nothing like ‘first truth’ or ‘last truth’.  Truth (satya) is eternal - same forever.  Either human being has understood it or has not understood it.  It is only with wisdom that satya is understood.   Understanding coexistence itself is the ultimate truth (param satya).

The path of idealism doesn't lead to happiness.

Happiness is to trust in the present.  It is not possible to give evidence of having become happy after reaching the destination of the sadhana path of devotion-renunciation.  Samadhi is the destination of sadhana path.  It is impossible to say whether one is happy or sorrowful in that state.  It is not possible for one to testify that state, that’s why they say it is beyond happiness and sorrow.  If you attain samadhi yourself, you will also find the same.  That state is bereft of all thoughts.  I have seen that state myself.  Samadhi is a possible event.  It is not a definite event.  It is not possible to say who will achieve samadhi and when.  It is not possible to say how one can achieve samadhi, since there are many methods for that – sadhana vidhi, agantuk vidhi, yog vidhi, dhyan vidhi, tapa vidhi, japa vidhi.

Anubhav

Anubhav is the point of fulfilment.  Upon achieving anubhav we become capable of communicating it.  Anubhav is the source of my fulfilment.  If you could understand my expression of anubhav, it is further celebration for me.  If you could not understand, my fulfilment remains unaffected.

The idealism thus far has kept asserting that anubhav is incommunicable.  I assert that anubhav is always communicable.   It is an integral activity in jeevan.

It is possible to evidence wisdom only in human tradition.  You don’t need any material for knowing and believing, as these activities happen in jeevan.  The activities of knowing and believing are not based on bodily sensations therefore these don’t need anything material.  Material things are required for recognizing and responding in the course of living.  The ‘living’ is of human being as a whole (and not of jeevan alone).  Anubhav activity doesn’t involve mun which is the outer most orbit of jeevan that feels the sensations from body.  Anubhav in atma directly results in celebration of munAtma – the nucleus of jeevan atom - is the source of fulfilment.  The mun, celebrating from the effect of anubhav in atma, can’t hold back this blissfulness and tells the world.   Even now, if we have a bountiful of something material we feel like sharing it.  Anubhav is such a big bounty that mun can’t contain it.

I have this anubhav.  The idealistic tradition proclaims that anubhav is incommunicable.  I proclaim that anubhav is communicable.  Now you can study and decide who you want to believe.  Human being can communicate anubhav if they so desire.  I am its living evidence.

Authenticity

Authenticity is in our ability to impart the wisdom that we ourselves have achieved.  There is only one sutra for achieving wisdom i.e. to understand the universal order of existence, understand nyaya, and understand human being.  I am among those who have become successful in understanding these and achieving wisdom.  Authenticity is the result of anubhav.  What is anubhav?  If we only believe (have words) but don’t know then we don’t get fulfilment.  If we know, but can’t believe (which is the ability to articulate what we know) then also we don’t get fulfilment.   It is when we become fulfilled in both knowing and believing that we get fulfilment in the course of our living – i.e. recognizing and responding. We humans did not get fulfilment in our living thus far because we had neither known existence nor believed in existence.  What is the point of fulfilment of self?  As we practice living with direct perception of reality in self, it results in bodh (in buddhi), and one discovers the point of fulfilment (anubhav) and authenticity in self.

Prosperity is a justified need of human being.

Prosperity is (for a family) to have more than what is needed.  We may need to ride once or twice in a day but a cycle is available to us for whole day – that’s prosperity.  Our need is one quintal rice but our production yield is 20 quintals – that’s prosperity.  These examples illustrate the principle - “resources are a plenty, needs are a few”.  It is possible for us to experience prosperity in all aspects of our living.  Experiencing prosperity is a justified need of human being.  The material world is there so that human being could experience prosperity.  There is only one way to experience prosperity – and that is to do production in excess of our family’s needs.  The continuity of resolution is when human beings live in universal order with prosperity in their families.  Wisdom once attained has its continuity.  One doesn’t need to run pillar to post for getting resolution in every new situation.  Wisdom is the basis of being resolved.  Even remembering of problem cannot make us feel good.  In this way – wisdom is the basis of experiencing resolution, hard labour is the basis of experiencing prosperity, and living in universal order is the basis of experiencing fearlessness.

Behavioural Sociology

When we elaborate ‘universal human constitution’ for human being’s group behaviour it takes the form of ‘behavioural sociology’.   It answers questions like – how does a human being become wise?  What is the grandeur of human being’s living with humanness?  How does a human being live in family, in society, in systems in the purview of humanness?  Our education needs to incorporate sociology based on humanness.

Universal Constitution for Humankind

One turns to ‘good’ or ‘bad’ based on what one can see.  If one can’t see the road to good then one turns to bad.  This proposal shows the road to universal good.  You can verify it the way I did.

First – Character of humanness is universal.  Humane character is in the form of righteous wealth, righteous conjugality, and kindness in action.

Second – The values flow when we have identified how we are related.  Identification of relationships, responding based on values, evaluation, and mutual fulfilment.  It is only then can we say we have nyaya in our relationships.

Third – We are ethical only when we make good use of our resources of body, mind, and wealth - and ensure their security.

In this way a human being with conduct of humanness is rooted in values, has strength of character, and lives ethically.  These three are the bases for human being’s living in universal order.  When I went about elaborating this sutra in various levels of human living - in family, in society, in occupation, in nature – it took the form of ‘universal constitution’ of humankind.   Conduct of humanness alone can be the basis of national character.

In the past we thought and built systems of governance based on religion and commerce, but those turned out to be failures.  We need their alternative.  The alternative proposal is – nation building with national character that is based on conduct of humanness.  No human being will have difficulty in understanding this proposal wherever and whenever.  You must taste the conduct of humanness for once!

Dharma

Dharma is not a ritual.  The rituals of one community or religion could never become universal in history, nor can they ever in future.  Orderly living alone can become universal which has happiness and well being of all.  I understand the meaning of orderly living and participating in the universal order.  I live that way and no one has any difficulty with me.  In conclusion - human being’s dharma is only in the form of their living in universal order.

The living in universal order results in our always being resolved and continuity of our happiness.  It is jeevan that becomes happy or fulfilled, which manifests as evidence of resolution in human being’s behaviour.  We can accept that human being is happy if they evidence resolution in their behaviour.

Only way to save Earth from annihilation

Human being will have self confidence after having understood what self is.  We will need to precisely understand nyaya, dharma and satya to understand self.  Nyaya is understood on the basis of relationship.  Dharma is understood on the basis of universal order.  Satya is understood on the basis of existence – which is always in effect by way of coexistence.  The entire grandeur of three orders of nature apart from human being is already aligned to the universal order.  Human being also has the innate thirst for universal order to some degree.  One cannot achieve bodh of universal order by reading textbooks of prevalent (deluded) education.  It is only after achieving bodh of universal order, and living in that order, that a human being becomes capable of fulfilling their dharma. Dharma of any entity in existence is its being and its participation in universal order.   The dharma of material order is to exist.  The dharma of bio order is to grow along with existing.  The dharma of animal order is want of living along with growing and existing.  Happiness is the dharma of human being.  How will happiness happen?  Happiness will happen by becoming resolved.  Resolution results by living in universal order.  Orderly living of human being depends on their achieving wisdom.  Wisdom all in all is to have bodh of existence, jeevan and conduct of humanness.

It is only after having achieved bodh of universal order that human being becomes dedicated to live thereby, which is sankalp.  One then lives in universal order with this sankalp.  We humans can create good circumstances by our living thus.  We will need to adopt humane education which will give rise to good sense in humankind.  There is no other way from saving this Earth from annihilation.  Let us be very clear about it.  It is needed now.  If we don’t understand it then circumstances will force us for understanding it.

The Burden of Science

Human being discovered how to fragment atom using the idea of mathematical division.   They used fragmentation or reductionist approach for building atom bomb.  An atom bomb can do nothing apart from destruction.  The Hiroshima attack and nuclear tests that were conducted again and again have resulted in colossal environmental damages on Earth.  These acts were carried out by a handful of people but all seven billion of human population has been left suffering.

The reductionist approach is destructive.  It uses the process of successive mathematical division, each time reducing the quantity of matter, taking it to the stage when quantity of matter becomes negligible, and even atom – which is basic building block of nature - is also broken up.

All of existence together makes for its eternal presence but the reductionist approach doesn’t see this presence of existence at all.  Entire scientific narrative is based on this reductionist mathematical approach – which makes it nothing but a bundle of lies.  Human being will need to muster self confidence to discard this burden of Science.  As long as human being bases their confidence on atom bombs, swords, nationalistic symbols or religious symbols we cannot have trust among human beings.

Good sense

No one does any wrong unless their understanding itself is wrong.  According to me - every human being wants good and is responsible for making good happen. Sooner or later human being will realize their responsibility.  Awakening is to realize the essence of well being of all.  This proposal is to initiate discussion about wisdom and jeevan’s awakening as alternative to pursuits of devotion-renunciation or comforts-accumulation.  The bodh and sankalp activities of buddhi can be evidenced only after one has understood the meaning of nyaya, dharma and satya.  This bodh itself can be called as “good sense”.  It is with this good sense that one accepts responsibility for well being of all.  It is when we understand existence that we achieve bodh of its being as eternal presence of coexistence.  This is the content of what I teach.

- An excerpt from translation of Jeevan Vidya - Ek Parichaya

Earth’s temperature is rising

The prevalent scientific education declares that everything is chaotic and uncertain.  Upon reading all this, its students start rationalizing their own undisciplined and chaotic behaviour.  When graduate scholars of this education go about living in society they start furthering the spread of disorder and imbalance.  The present condition of this Earth illustrates this.  Earth’s temperature is rising.  What is the root cause?  Everybody knows why this is happening, including the scientists.  The temperatures are rising because we have extracted coal and petroleum from underneath.  These substances digest heat and when we removed these from their place it is natural that temperatures started rising.  This rise in temperature is resulting in rise of sea levels.  How high could the sea levels rise?  The place where we are sitting it could have two hundred to three hundred feet high water.  Only few hills may be left out of water.  We have become stuck this way.  Many developed countries call out saying let us together fix this situation.  It is well known from history who started all this.  Our extracting coal and petroleum is a violation with Earth.  We can know whether Earth can still recuperate from this damage only after these violations stop.  Human beings live in the temperature range from -20 degrees until +50 degrees.  The body temperature everywhere remains same despite variation in outside temperature.  How does this happen?  It happens because body has the substance which maintains its temperature.  In the same way, coal and petroleum are the substances which maintain Earth’s temperature.  Now the issue is how can we stop the extraction of coal and petroleum?  We will need to discover alternative sources of energy.  We can generate 50 times electricity than what our requirement if we could harness the energy from the rivers that flow on Earth.  We need to develop efficient turbines for generating electricity from force of the flowing rivers.  Secondly, we can design engines that use vegetable oil instead of petrol or diesel.  Oil seed vegetations could be grown in large areas.  Third, solar energy efforts need to get more focus.  We need to make more and more machines and systems work with solar energy.  In this way we can get more energy than our requirement from resources on Earth’s surface.  We can stop the use of coal and petroleum by replacing them with alternative sources of energy.  It is only then can we test how Earth heals itself from the wounds inflicted on it by human being.

Earth provisioned environment for human being’s secure living but human being with all their intelligence rebelled, attacked and exploited it.  Human being has been busy spoiling their environment since antiquity.  More damages happened since coming of scientific age and now we have become totally stricken. If a man drowns in a river then there is a possibility for him to resurface and get saved.  It is up to us whether we want to do something for saving Earth.  Our thoughts determine our circumstances.  If we want something then circumstances become favourable for it and if we don’t want circumstances become unfavourable.  We have erred in our evaluation of environment's significance due to our own foolishness, thereby we have injured nature and we got injured ourselves.  We were rejoicing while doing all this destruction but now we are afraid on seeing the possibility of our getting destroyed.  This sums up the human history thus far.

Gaps in Constitution and Education

The conduct of humanness is missing everywhere in human tradition.  It is neither present in our education nor is it there in our constitution.  The current constitution has no provision of evaluating conduct of humanness.  Constitution that describes rule by power center cannot provision evidencing conduct of humanness.  Such constitution can never be humane.  Conduct of humanness is not possible if one lives according to such constitution.  Not a single person could evidence conduct of humanness by living in accordance with such constitution.  No one could muster courage or wisdom to critique constitution in this way.  Human happiness is not possible and their conflicts will continue unless these gaps are filled.

Wisdom is the only way to escape from this garbage.  Education must be humanized for this.  Science needs to incorporate study of consciousness.  Philosophy needs to incorporate practicability aspect. Geography and History need to incorporate study of human being and humanness.  It is only when humanness gets incorporated in education that human tendencies will naturally shift towards orderly living and producing evidence of understanding in their living.  It is with our true identity as human beings will we become successful in providing opportunities and achieving universal human goals of resolution, prosperity, absence of fear and coexistence.  The completeness in education is possible only when it is based on Sanskar of humanness, not by any other way.  Sanskar or values that we talk about today are based on our assumption and not on reality.  These assumptions or beliefs are not universal.

Conduct of Humanness

Conduct of humanness encompasses values (mulya), character (charitra) and ethics (naitikta).

Values are from nyaya – i.e. identification of relationship, responding based on values, evaluation, and mutual fulfilment.  These values have to be there in a family, a family needs nothing apart from mutually fulfilling relations among all its members.

Character (charitra) is conduct at the level of society, which has been recognized as (living with) righteous wealth (sva-dhan), righteous conjugality (sva-nari/sva-purush), and kindness in work and behaviour (daya poorna karya-vyavhar).

Ethics (naitikta) is about righteous use and protection of resources of body, mind and wealth.

Human being can be assured of a very good life within purview of this conduct.

Unique trait or 'ness'

Universal order of existence is eternal truth with its every unit being an order with its unique trait.  For example - oak-ness of an oak tree is its unique trait.  A peepul tree maintains its definite conduct with all its fruits, seeds and leaves having peepul-ness.  In the same way, the conduct of entire units of plant world and animal world is definite, each exhibiting definite conduct of its respective 'ness'.  This definiteness in conduct of each unit itself is the meaning of “each being an order with its 'ness' and participating in universal order”.  The conduct of human being could not become definite until now and for this reason they could not participate in universal order.  We humans haven’t discovered the way in which we could have order in our collective living; however we have reached the point where we have started feeling its need.  We humans will need to live according to human-ness to become part of universal order.

- An excerpt from English translation of Jeevan Vidya - Ek Parichaya

Education based on Sanskar

Education based on Sanskar means instilling the sutra of wisdom in every family, in every individual and in every child.  We can also call it the propagation of wisdom.  As mentioned earlier, the sequence of articulating this wisdom is: - first – darshan, second – vaad (ideology), third – shastra (discipline in living), and after shastra comes the yojana (program).  One of the programs is Jeevan Vidya Yojana (Jeevan Vidya Program) which shows the way for human being’s orderly living in family.  Second program is – shiksha ka manviyakaran yojana (Humanization of Education Program).  It is about schooling based on this wisdom.  We tried these ideas at a school in Bijnaur (UP).  It went on for five years.  We observed effects of this education.  I had been rejecting the claims of people that environment of upbringing determines one’s character.  We discovered the opposite here.  If environment always supersedes human will how could I become successful in discovering this darshan?  Children of this school started positively affecting their families, their families in turn started positively affecting environment of that region.  The children started identifying themselves as jeevan and they started feeling the utmost need of orderly living.  Many children, as a result, started evaluating what they show on TV as meaningless.  Gradually disputes among families there started getting dissolved.  As per my knowledge those villages are not left with any disputes now.  The children affected their environment.  On this basis I say this education has some substance.

In the shiksha ka manviyakaran yojana (Humanization of Education Program) we will teach consciousness as part of Science.  Consciousness means study of jeevan and its awakening.  We will teach the way physiochemical world goes through cycles of formation and deformation.  We will teach how these activities of physiochemical world are complementary for human being and how human being can become complementary to the physiochemical world.  Thereafter we will teach darshan shastra (philosophy) along with practicability aspect.  This means philosophy is meant for imparting wisdom needed for human living.  We build our identity with wisdom.  It is with wisdom that we identify purpose in our relations, respond based on values, and get mutual fulfilment upon evaluation.

- Excerpt from English Translation of Jeevan Vidya - Ek Parichaya.

Liberation from Fear and Temptation

We become capable of doing justice by identifying our relationships based on their purpose, evaluating value in our responses, and finding mutual fulfilment.  This replaces our approach so far of identifying relations out of fear or temptation.  There was no point in evaluating responses based on fear and temptation, since neither fear nor incentive is value.  Fear and temptation are two sides of the same coin.  Fear and temptation based responses can make things quiet for sometime in a relation, but the malaise remains as it is.  The courts too could not get us justice, since these too work based on fear and temptation.  For centuries, we humans have been living with compromises in our relations.  We could not achieve a just social order thus far in our history.  We have lived so far based on fear and temptation which are not values or basis of evaluating a relationship.

Human beings, in their history, couldn’t discover the universal values of their living.  Had they discovered those values we would have had their expression and evidences which would naturally have resulted in justice.  The courts today deliver judgment not justice.  One side gives consent to that judgment out of fear and the other out of temptation.  Mutual fulfilment never happened in these trials, nor can it ever happen.  We humans have altogether failed in getting justice in all our efforts so far.  It is ironical that we still make claims of our advancement.  What is the meaning of this advancement?

Every human being wants to become liberated from the vicious trap of fear and temptation.  This liberation is humankind’s destiny.  This liberation will be good for both human being and rest of the nature.

- Excerpt from English Translation of Jeevan Vidya - Ek Parichaya

Identification of Relationship

Identification of a relationship is identification of innate purpose in that relationship.  Study is nothing but understanding purpose of all our relationships.  One naturally becomes dedicated for that whose purpose is understood.  Dedication leads to capability of living with justice, which in turn leads to expected outcome (mutual fulfilment in all relations).  This is one simple way to lead a successful and meaningful life.  All round resolution of human being is linked with all their relations.  The purpose of all relations is in human being’s becoming resolved, and thereby happy.  We humans trust, love, make friends and become grateful to evidence our resolution, our happiness.  We are seeking resolution from our relations.

Universal human values are: - mamata, vatsalya, vishwas, sneha, kritagyata, gauravta, prem, shraddha, and samman.  The acceptance of whatever help we may have received for our all round resolution is kritagyata.  Once kritagyata is actualized, other values also start getting actualized – such as sneha, prem, vishvas.   You wouldn’t find a person who hasn’t got any help in some form or the other from somewhere or the other.  A human being grows up, becomes capable, and produces evidences only with help of everyone else.  The continuity of relationships is only when one lives by values in one’s relationships.  A relationship without values doesn’t have continuity.  In general even today we present ourselves with decency to those with whom we feel related.

Traditionally, we kept identifying our relation with others based on their power, money, intelligence or age. While in reality, all relations are first for evidencing all round resolution, second for nourishment of body, third for protection from any harm, fourth for acquiring things of utility, fifth for utilization of these things for well being in society, and sixth for understanding and evidencing human purpose.

Authenticity is the highest value in a relationship.  Everyone becomes satisfied with authenticity of evidence.

Way to a successful and meaningful life

Every human being wants to lead a successful and meaningful life.  Wisdom is the source of fulfilling this noble intention.  This intention cannot be covered up.  Goodness is acceptable to everyone, everyone wants good to happen; this hope is inherent in all human beings.

Justice in Living

When I became capable of living with justice, my family became the first ground of evidencing this understanding.  Thereby members of my family became convinced that I am moving in the right direction.  Once I became successful at the level of family, families of our friends also started recognizing my precision (in my words, actions, behaviour).  Having become confident thus, I started becoming successful in conveying that impression to hitherto unknown visitors as well.

‘yog’ and ‘sanyog’

Let me tell you here the meaning of words ‘yog’ and ‘sanyog’.  Yog means coming together.  For example, if we are going somewhere and we meet someone or something – say a stone, or another person – that’s yog.  Sanyog means coming together for the purpose of completeness.  Completeness for human being is in their orderly living.  Ultimate completeness for human being is in their becoming authentic by producing evidences of their wisdom.  Every human being wants orderly living and authenticity, however not finding its source anywhere one is left with no other choice but adjust with what is available in tradition. Yog and Sanyog have always been there.  There have been many efforts of achieving ‘completeness’ in human history, their becoming successful or not is another matter.  Humankind has made many sacrifices for achieving completeness.  A sacrifice doesn’t go in vain.  If we strike a boulder again and again with hammer, eventually we succeed in breaking it apart.  The last strike made the success evident but had the previous strikes happened, that’s why the last strike got success.  All previous strikes contributed in the success of last strike.  If I have found some success then it has contribution of all previous efforts.  I believe whole humankind has contributed for this success.  The biggest benefit of my seeing it this way is that success didn’t go to my head.  I got to meet very few people who are arrogant in this way.  Whatever arrogance one may have come with, I have seen it getting dissolved after my walking a few steps with them.  All my meetings with people from different walks of life had cordiality and simplicity.  This doesn’t mean everyone who I met accepted what I had to say.  Many people don’t accept what I am saying, and I respect them as well.  It is not their fault; they have been laden with contrary beliefs by their tradition due to which they are not able to see what I am saying.  I am happy irrespective of anyone’s accepting or rejecting my proposal about the way reality is.  Every human being has the seed for turning to what is right, which would sprout and flower only when its sanyog happens.  Every human being naturally wants good to happen.  We need to build environment which nurtures this want of goodness in human being.  Sanyog is when human beings meet for the sake of resolution, order, and undivided society.  Sanyog is not by merely meeting of like minded people.  A meeting of two thieves and two robbers is not for the purpose of achieving resolution and order, therefore that is not sanyog.

The Content of Education

Wisdom is the key to humankind’s salvation.  An educational institution has authority and is expected to disseminate wisdom.  Education needs to incorporate study of consciousness in its content along with Science.  How will you study reality as coexistence without first becoming clear about consciousness - the self or jeevan which performs this study?  These two parts – consciousness and coexistence – have not been addressed by educational institutions, educational philosophies or pedagogy.  Secondly, Psychology needs to incorporate study of human consciousness, which in turn means its content needs to include sanskar.  Thirdly, Philosophy needs to be taught with authenticity of evidences.  So far we had assumed “learned” is the one who can repeat what he was asked to read.  However, that’s not the meaning of being learned.  A learned person is the epitome of wisdom.  Existence itself is the content of all learning.  One cannot become learned without understanding existence, without understanding jeevan, and without understanding humane conduct.  This wisdom entails a definite line of thinking (ideology), thereby a definite plan, translating into definite actions, whose definite outcomes become its real life evidences.  In the absence of wisdom how can we achieve a definite line of thinking?  In the absence of wisdom we have one ideology (materialism) which seeks comforts and accumulation, and other ideology which seeks renunciation, non-accumulation, detachment and devotion.  Millions of people offered their lives for these ideologies - demonstrating their courage, patience and dedication.  However both these ideologies – idealism and materialism - could not give a definite outline (goal and direction) of a just society.  Humankind has forever been making tireless efforts but without any definite goal or direction.

Evidence

Evidence, according to me, is in my enabling other person with wisdom that I have understood, learning that I have learnt and skills that I have mastered.  We need to produce evidences of these three aspects - wisdom, learning and skills - of intelligence in our living.  There is no fourth aspect.  It is alright if there is shortcoming in our learning and skills, but our wisdom has to be complete for evidencing.  We humans have accomplished a great deal in learning and doing but we are nil when it comes to wisdom.  Today we consider learning and doing as most valuable, but all our learning and all our skills (in the absence of wisdom) could not get us any resolution or relief, and we have kept on getting stuck somewhere or the other.  The need now is to study human being.  The evidence of wisdom has to happen after we have studied human being.  The study of human being was left behind by both idealism and materialism.  Idealism (spiritualism) considered gods-goddesses and the God to be supreme and ignored study of human being.  Materialism too left human being out of their frame, modelling everything as machine, and machine itself became evidence or reference for them.  Idealism, on the other hand, made gospel or holy book of their religion as reference or evidence.  This under-estimation of human being manifested as illusion, and every human effort only furthered this illusion.  Trapped in illusion, human being suffered, became frustrated, and felt defeated.  Now the question is – how can human being be rescued from this illusion?  All seats of power have kept giving assurances of salvation, but without evidence how long would it all last?

Humane Tradition

Every human being wants to lead a dignified life.  Justice is the minimum qualification for dignity in human living.  I see justice as – identification of relationship, responding based on values, evaluation, and mutual fulfilment.  I also understood that every human being is a seeker of justice from the moment they are born.  They want to work and behave in the right way.  Every child naturally speaks truth.  On this basis what should be the content of our education?  Education should impart understanding of truth, provision practice of right work and behaviour, and instill capability of delivering justice.  The reformation of human tradition will happen on its own if education incorporates these into its content.  Unless this happens it will not be possible to bring about humane tradition.

Justice is the starting point of humane tradition.  Most important aspect of understanding justice is recognizing eternal continuity in human being’s relationship with their environment and with other human beings.   When a person commits mistake, first someone from his own family delivers justice by guiding him.  If no one in family could deliver justice then someone from his village takes up that responsibility.  If no one in the village could help then he naturally turns to the level of State, then Nation, and at the end he starts asking if there is any justice on Earth.  Human being, therefore, has natural tendency towards reformation.  It is evident that the world of today is looking for a change.  It has not been clear to anyone what exact change they want.  This proposal addresses it.

Education based on sanskar alone can do the missionary work of this proposal.  Education needs to be humanized.  If every human being has to evidence justice in their living then we must provision wisdom in education.  Science has to include study of consciousness.  Unless we understand consciousness we will not be able to understand existence, and without understanding existence how will we understand its order?  Jeevan itself is the entity that understands existence.  Therefore our education ought to include the study of jeevan.  Psychology needs to incorporate sanskar aspect – which is about study of human consciousness.  Consciousness, in case of human being, includes both sensitivity and intelligence.  Philosophy needs to be taught with authenticity by giving real life evidences.  Such authenticity can only come with the way of humaneness and it cannot come through materialism or spiritualism.  Human being can become wise and existence is always there up close for human being’s achieving wisdom.

Self Reliance

The first accomplishment of this wisdom is in our getting a basis (absolute reference) of evaluating our own self and our family.  This evaluation is based on understanding of values, relationships, and mutual fulfilment.  We become capable of evidencing justice thereby.  It is only then we become worthy of calling ourselves human being.  The wisdom results in one’s becoming self reliant with following six capabilities.

1.   Self Confidence
2.  Respect for Excellence
3. Balance in Talent
4. Balance in Personality
5. Sociability in Behaviour
6. Self-sustainability in Occupation

I experienced self reliance with these six capabilities and went on to evidence wisdom and prosperity in my family.  It is with this authenticity that I am presenting this proposal to you.

Utility of Material Things

Human beings analysed based on the perspective of like, health, and profit, resulting many accomplishments in their history.  It is with these perspectives humans could achieve capability of producing objects of their needs and aspiration.  Not only this, they produced things which are of no utility, such as bombs, missiles, warships etc. Their meaninglessness and destructiveness is well known by events in history.  Human beings realize ‘utility’ of material things when they achieve consonance at logic, behaviour and fundamental levels.
