Every jeevan has ‘hope’ which is two activities, taste and choice. Choice is an activity. Taste is also an activity. One chooses to taste. The part of jeevan where these two activities happen is called mun.
Human being has visualized and accumulated all the stuff they may need for satisfying their ‘taste’, and they are busy doing more of it. We accumulate to ‘taste’ comfort. The more we lagged in understanding the purpose of comfort the more helpless we became in accumulating stuff required for comfort. Without understanding purpose we did not find any point of fulfilment in our pursuit of comfort and accumulation. The purpose of comfort is understood as objects of basic necessities (i.e. food, shelter and clothing for nurturing and protecting body) and objects of aspiration (as means of transportation and telecommunication for social participation). It is a huge irony that even after accomplishing all these things human being’s ‘taste’ remains insatiate.
