Every human-being conducts himself with some level of clarity, honesty, responsibility, and accountability. Human-conduct - in other words - is manifestation of these four aspects. In this article we will try to understand what these mean in the light of Madhyasth-Darshan.
One seeks Clarity, and at the culmination of study in coexistence one has Clarity. One seeks clarity about existence and about self. Having answers about every why and how - is Clarity. Need to know is naturally there in every human-being, and this is the trait which distinguishes a human-being from animals. Human-being is an entity of knowledge-order. This is clarity in absolute sense. A student is the one who seeks this clarity.
One displays Honesty. Honesty is openness about self. Again honesty is in absolute sense. An honest person alone can be trusted by others. In this way, trust is also an absolute value of a human-being. Mutual-trust between two honest persons gets manifested as complementariness.
One takes Responsibility. One takes responsibility upon recognizing one's relationships. It is acceptance of what one commits to do for realizing harmony in one's relationships. Responsibility is also about self-recognition. One recognizes oneself in one's relationships. Like clarity and honesty, responsibility is also in absolute sense.
One delivers with Accountability. One delivers with accountability for what had taken responsibility for. Accountability is about owning up for the good or bad outcomes of one's actions. The outcomes of actions which are out of clarity are always good, and they cause harmony and coexistence. The person who acts with clarity is free in doing actions and also free in receiving wholesome and definite outcomes of those actions. While the person who acts without clarity, though is free in doing actions, but is bound for reaping uncertain outcomes of those actions.
Humankind today is in the status of illusion - which is absence of absolute clarity about self and existence. Study in coexistence leads one to Clarity. Study requires directing one's imagination towards the proposal of why and how everything is. In the status of illusion one's imagination is under capture of some illusory concepts of reality. Illusory concepts are essentially flights of imagination without direction. A person with Clarity alone is capable of giving direction to others.

Rakesh, I appreciate your teaching in this post and brought it to the attention of my readersthis morning as I contemplate taking 100% responsibility for my relationship with everything.
It is a process or act of recognition is it not? If I do not recognize my relationship with others, with my environment, with my temperment and my outcomes, then I will not take responsibility for any of it.
Thanks Chris,
That's correct, it is a process of recognition. Recognition is partial without Clarity. Clarity alone leads to full recognition of others, my environment, my temperament, and my outcomes. Recognition itself is Responsibility - since I take responsibility for what I recognize fully. Responsibility itself manifests as Accountability.
Regards,
Rakesh.

Rakesh,
Thank you. I follow completely as I've pursued clarity since 1992.
I see you work in a software organization. You might be interested in my field studies over the last 17 years -- mostly in technology companies-- to identify how personal responsibility operates in the mind and to develop highly responsible teams and cultures:
